Thankfully we've never found them anywhere on our counters or in cabinets or any signs of them there at all. Great tips, though! Thank you so much!Marijanna and Shaunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01973287919844571970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8877007938456723242.post-29839513748116019492013-01-05T11:05:31.670-05:002013-01-05T11:05:31.670-05:00Have-a-heart traps are humane and work for us. Peppermint oil is a mouse repellent and so is vinegar, so I keep a cotton ball with a few drops of pep oil in the cupboard or where they like to go, and I wipe down my kitchen counters with a half-half white vinegar/water mix that I keep handy in a spray bottle. Good luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8877007938456723242.post-16321617328174198152012-12-23T19:12:38.345-05:002012-12-23T19:12:38.345-05:00I know! It's amazing what a piece of gold fabric and some christmas lights behind it can do with a cutie 1 year old!

I'm so happy to be able to do a little for my family. I honestly would not care in the least if I had not ONE gift to open on Christmas and I know Shaun's the same way... but I just love him so much that I felt I wanted to do SOMETHING to show him!

Mouse... we've tried. Only chocolate (in peanut butter... or by itself) works.

Thanks about the card. I agonized over it!

They'll be 16 mo apart and I know there will be "struggles", but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Merry Christmas to you my dear and to that wonderful family! Many blessings, Tina!Marijanna and Shaunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01973287919844571970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8877007938456723242.post-81573922250126959942012-12-23T19:09:17.824-05:002012-12-23T19:09:17.824-05:00No cats. Late Fall/Early winter we'll see one here and there every few weeks and will catch them and then... nothing for a while. Then we'll get a really cold weather spell and one will squeak in... not sure what to do.

I hate it too... can't even go to look at the traps. I feel so bad, but the baby comes first.

HOpe YOU have a wonderful Christmas in that lovely new house. Do you feel like the little girl in Miracle on 34th street when she got her "house" for Christmas??? Bet that Annamarie is loving it!Marijanna and Shaunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01973287919844571970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8877007938456723242.post-51283201400186555002012-12-23T19:06:22.768-05:002012-12-23T19:06:22.768-05:00Colleen!!! You could think of it as our house "pet" (although I don't think of them that way) ...maybe we do need to borrow Evie. ;)
Marijanna and Shaunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01973287919844571970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8877007938456723242.post-4418722714609749582012-12-23T14:16:48.566-05:002012-12-23T14:16:48.566-05:00Ummmm if you have mice I will not be visiting agai...Ummmm if you have mice I will not be visiting again...omg I am so scared of them! My MIL's house has mice and no matter what they always seem to get back in. We had the most luck with those sticky traps but they make me really sad since I hate seeing anything die :(

Hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas!Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18037863893536646602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8877007938456723242.post-29337393613372197472012-12-23T13:02:55.662-05:002012-12-23T13:02:55.662-05:00I absolutley love the third picture!
I know wha...I absolutley love the third picture!

I know what you mean about the money. I was skimping and skimping on my grocert/stuff budget to save a little and as many haircuts as I could to be able to surprise my hubby this year.

Mouse in the house....as far as that goes, it is pretty cute but the tail is what gets me. I just don't like those tails. They are small! We usually always get one maybe two in the late Fall...this year we didn't. I never trust that though. Peanut butter does the trick here and I never look at them. My husband as to check the "spot" before he goes to work. Good luck.

Your Christmas card is very cute!

My oldest two are 15 months apart. Not going to lie, the first month was probably hard. Mostly on me. I cried many times wondering what we were thinking so close together. My big baby still needed me so much. It all got better the better I felt and now I can't imagine having them spaced any differently. They are the best of friends and love each other so much. Mine are 33 months apart 3 kids. :)

Merry Christmas!!!Tina Fhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05876035341161441894noreply@blogger.com
