In the past two weeks:
I've finished up all the remaining lessons with the little ones & the dreaded progress reports as well, planned their big "End of the Year Celebration/Show (SOOOOooo cute!!! They did awesome), screened all the new kids coming in for the following year,
I've also watched my husband work his little tuckush off everyday and wake earlier than usual, come home late most nights and never complain about how exhausted he is. He just gives me a kiss or brings me flowers or pours me a glass of water (and him wine) and sits and "hangs out" with me on the porch or couch when he gets home. That is if he's not mowing the lawn, watering the garden, bringing the laundry downstairs, loading or unloading the dishwasher, making dinner on the grill or doing some other awesome husband thing he does... oh and lets not forget how many times he tells me how beautiful I am, how much he loves me belly, how happy he is to be married to me and overall just makes me feel like the luckiest wife in the world while he's icing my cankles, or rubbing my legs due to an awful bout of restless legs or getting my vitamins (I've always been bad at remembering to take them). I just Love him.
I've ALSO (finally) begun to feel "Ava" move! Right at 22 1/2 weeks when I was starting to get worried, she gave a few good kicks to put my mind at ease and let me know she's in there... and much like her mother, leaves everything to the last minute. She's been kicking a bit everyday. Not a ton, just enough to let me know she's there. And it's pretty cool if I do say so.
My midwife says everything looks good so far. She's 24 1/2 weeks now and I definitely LOOK pregnant! I'm not looking forward to the summer months and although I look nothing like a Sports Illustrated Model (never did... food and I get along WAY too well), I must say I feel it suits me. I'm so happy to be carrying this little girl inside me and growing to love her each day. Pretty exciting!
Well, tomorrow I finish up a little paperwork at school and then I'm free! (I'll be nannying a lot over the Summer, but this is different and fun in a more relaxed way.) Can't wait!
that's awesome!! We'll have to get the kiddos together at the playground so you don't miss Payton's antics... and attitude... too much!! lmao
