About Us

My photo
We met over 8 years ago at church as Shaun was walking in and I was walking out. The few words exchanged sparked an interst that kept Shaun coming back. When we FINALLY began dating 4 years later we soon knew there was something special here. Our first year quickly flew by and we both decided we never wanted to spend another year with anyone else or without each other. We married in the place where it all began on January 1, 2011 (1/1/11) and gave birth to our beautiful daughter Ava Marie on September 22, 2011 our next little one, Clara Rose came 16 months later on February 11, 2013. This blog began with our preparation with our wedding and has entered into recording the days and events of our newlywed life and new motherhood.

Thanksgiving 2012

This year we have SO much to be thankful for... far more than I could possibly post about here.  We have a beautiful warm, comfortable, cozy home with warm beds to sleep in and a LOT of love to go around.  An amazing marriage, beautiful baby, healthy pregnancy and #2 on the way.  Couldn't be more blessed!  Here are a few photos of our trip to Shaun's Mum's for Thanksgiving hosted by his beautiful sister, Mary.  A Walkthrough in pictures...

When I dressed her in this outfit, I immediately thought "Oh, this is SOoo something Mary's girl's would wear!" ...uh, by the looks fo those skirts, I guess I was right!

This is what I found drawn on the tablecloth.  Not carved in a tree, but it's close!

And for the man who put in the basket of "thanksgiving thoughts" that was passed around and each one read aloud, "I'm thankful for the best wife ever!"

    Love that picture of the girls doing gymnastic stuff with Ava, my girls are always bending like that in ways I will never be able to.

      Thanks for the input on the photo. I only wish Ava was looking up in that one. Thanks for the compliment, I don't always feel stunning, but am always happy to have a healthy pregnancy.

      Aren't those pig's the cutest? It's getting so long!

      And as for their flexibility ...I'm just amazed.
