My photo
We met over 8 years ago at church as Shaun was walking in and I was walking out. The few words exchanged sparked an interst that kept Shaun coming back. When we FINALLY began dating 4 years later we soon knew there was something special here. Our first year quickly flew by and we both decided we never wanted to spend another year with anyone else or without each other. We married in the place where it all began on January 1, 2011 (1/1/11) and gave birth to our beautiful daughter Ava Marie on September 22, 2011 our next little one, Clara Rose came 16 months later on February 11, 2013. This blog began with our preparation with our wedding and has entered into recording the days and events of our newlywed life and new motherhood.

Wordless Wednesday-The Surprise Edition

...that's actually Ava (check out the # on the scale.  What a 1st baby)!  I'm sorry.  I couldn't help myself.  In the midst of all this silly house stress, I needed to amuse myself at your expense.

    Eek! And I thought Annamarie was huge at 8lb 15oz! I don't remember if I followed you before Ava was born, but I am eagerly awaiting your new little girl to arrive!

    My first thought was, Oh, my!! She's already posted, then, at the same time, I thought, she looks exactly like Ava!! You silly girl.

    My oldest girl was 9.3 AND my 4th kiddo was 9.1! all the rest were normal, to low.

      Honestly? I'm sure I will NOT be that organized or prompt when it comes to posting. I'm actually a LOT like this little one (always LATE). Glad it made you smile. Thanks for the prayers! I have NO idea how big she'll be, but we KNEW Ava would be big (and she was early)... but I can't complain because I was 13lbs 8.5oz when I was born. *ugh* My poor mom...

    That's just cruel, Marijanna!! :) Although, what's really cruel is that your sweet pea has decided to arrive fashionably late. STINKER!

      She's a lot like her mommy. I'm not the most "punctual" person... no matter how hard I try.

    Haha! That was good. :-)

    Both my boys were 9lbs, 7 oz. Our smallest baby was our last one--8 pounds even and 19 inches long. Everyone said how big he was but we are so used to big babies that we thought he was tiny.
